Why Active?

If our location alone is not enough to make you visit Craigower Lodge then hopefully assuring you that the standards we set are at the forefront of outdoor learning in the UK.  Active were awarded the "Uk Residential Excellence Award" by the Prince's Trust - testament to the quality of service we provide.

We have been an AALA/ AALS licensed centre for 10 years and have an exemplary safety record.

Active instructors are also professional minibus drivers (PCV).  Our instructors are full time outdoor practitioners with a wealth of experience, they hold a variety of National Governing Body qualifications.  We believe in giving schools true adventure experiences in real outdoor environments. This means no on site activities!
