Foundation Instructor Course

This 10 week course will give you a real taste of adventure. If you are looking to make a quick breakthrough to a career in the outdoor’s or if you are an outdoor person looking for a summer of adventure. It offers a wide range of adventure activities with real learning outcomes.
 
The course is based at Craigower Lodge Outdoor Centre in the Scottish Highlands. On our doorstep in Newtonmore we have access to some of Scotland’s finest mountains, rivers and lochs. It’s the perfect to learn and develop your outdoor skills. Our team of highly experienced Instructor’s will ensure you have some great outdoor adventures.
 
The aim of this 10 week course is to introduce you to a wide range of adventure activities and develop your skills to a standard where you can gain a variety of National Governing Body (NGB) Instructor Awards.
We are aware of how challenging and time consuming this process can be for people, this course aims to reduce these barriers and leave you as an employable person in the outdoor industry, if this is not your goal, the course will equip you with a range of skills that will give you the confidence to venture into wild & remote places.		 The course is aimed at people of all ages from 17 years and over who have a keen interest in the outdoors or have some experience or basic awards in one or more activities on offer. You will be a highly motivated and physically fit person prepared for the challenges this course will present to you.
This course could be your first step in a radical change in career or lifestyle it is also an excellent GAP course opportunity. This course will be an amazing experience which we hope will have significant impact on your life.
