Winter mountaineering
Craigower Lodge is perhaps the most ideally sited centre for mountaineering courses. Located in the Cairngorms National Park we are within easy driving distance of The Northern Corries of Cairngorm as well as Creag Meagaidh and Aoanoch Mor. With our perfect location, we will get you to where conditions are best. Our 2 & 5 day courses run from January to March, if dates dont suit, we may be able to organise a private course.

This 5 day course is aimed at experienced winter walkers and climbers wishing to tackle some of Scotland’s famous ice & mixed climbs, This is a great opportunity to tackle those routes you’ve often dreamed of. The course will be tailored to your own needs and will tackle winter routes from grade 2-6 depending on individual aspirations and abilities.
