SKIING IN SCOTLAND
 
Get active this winter, join us on the slopes for a great skiing or snowboarding experience. The winter of 2010 was one of the best in decades.  Scotland is a great place to learn to ski and hone your skills.

The mountains usually have great snow conditions in February through early April although there has been extensive dumps of snow in December and January in recent years with skiing continuing until the end of May. During the season active run day trips and courses and ski holidays. The Scottish ski centres continue to develop their facilities and provide a great way to learn and develop your skills before perhaps heading off to the Alps or America. Active offer a range of skiing and boarding packages including day trips  with skiing at Cairngorm, Nevis Range and The Lecht. 
We have courses and holidays to suit beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders.
Active also run Ski leader and Snowboard Leader Courses in Scotland and the Alps.

Ski Weekends


Skiing and snowboarding courses run every weekend throughout the winter season and early spring. We use Cairngorm Mountain and occasionally Nevis Range or the Lecht depending on conditions. Courses are suitable for complete beginners and For intermediates stuck on a frustrating “Plateau” why not try a day on blades? A great way to experiment with some new tricks and inject some fun back into your skiing! We can offer you Scottish Snowsports Awards to guide and encourage you in your development.
